Default Car bogging?

Ok well i just replaced my distributor and now my car bogs hard as hell. When i give it gas it barely moves and then when i shift it picks up for a couple seconds then continues to bog. Well my brother thought my car was mid grade and its premium and he put about 2 gallons worth of mid-grade in it. Could this make the car do that?

Well a friends dad fixed it at his shop for free so i will double check that in a little. If this isn't the problem would my best bet be to go get my car timed?
