Question Can I Do this Conversion?

I am about to do this conversion in a 1998 EK9 Hatch with an Automatic Tranny in it.

B18b1 with an Automatic Tranmission and ECU for it. I would be putting this into a 98 EK9 Hatch. I know for this to work I have to get the b18 with OBD2. What else would I need to know ahead for this ordeal.

you can do it but it will be a bigger pain in the ass to do this swap then rather switch it to manual...the auto tranny is a lot bigger so getting to fit will be the main problem, also you will need a good welder and you will have to cut and move the passenger side tranny mount

i dont know if they will work..since the tranny is bigger/longer you may need a shorter axle..
