Camshafts
Can anyone drop some knowledge on the performance and functionality of new(er) camshafts?
I was browsing around E-bay and saw these camshafts for a '96 240sx and I have a '91 240sx (same engine). Would it be worth it?

Thanks for any help guys.

i wouldnt put a camshaft from ebay into my car unless i knew the seller really well. you could just have yours reground to a more aggressive tune (just like that guy did on the auction) and know where they have been and who ground them for you. itd suck to buy them, put them in and find out theyre set up for a forced induction car, or be so aggressive your idle becomes unreasonable. just my .02
Unless they changed the profile or your cams are worn you wont see any difference. The point of getting different camshafts is you can increase things like lift and duration so the valves will be open for a longer period of time and be open more. With many larger cams you will sacrifice low end power, but it really depends on what cams you go with.
