Cam Shafts and Gears
I would like to put some cam shafts and gears on a itr and was wondering if I put stage 3 cam shafts on it (with a good tune of course) would there be any down falls on doing that and would I have to upgrade the valve train or could I put them on without upgading it

Re: Cam Shafts and Gears
Buy some valvesprings and retainers.
Get some sort of stage 2 cam.
I recommend Skunk2 valve springs and retainers, and Skunk2 Pro1s or Skunk2 Stage 2s.
Select your tuner, Matt Shue(he posted above) or Shad or my buddy Patrick at MRD.
You cannot go wrong with any tuner, choose your came wisely though. I'm a skunk nut.

Re: Cam Shafts and Gears
if you already have ITR spring/retainers, the only safe cams i would put int here are skunk stage 1s. not the Pro 1s, just the tuner stage 1s.
With a stock ITR though, i'd like to see some Skunk 2 Pro 1s and their springs/retainers.
