Default CA18det/SR20DET owners on here (HELP)

I'm building one for a friend and I have run into a problem I can't figure out. I spent the last 8 hrs trying to track it down and cant find the problem.

My problem:

Got spark and fuel to the rail....but nothing is coming out of the injectors. I have check each injector for ohms/voltage and everything checked out good.
I also have used the screwdriver CLICKING method on the injector, but that came out bad. I just removed the fuel rail and did a bench test to confirm that nothing is coming out of the injectors. The drop resistor is also good=5.9ohms.

What else could control this action. I have 2 ecu's and nothing changes. I need some help here. The engine is a CA, but the wiring is 99% identical to the SR. I'm hoping that someone may give me other ideas.

I'm good enough to read the FSM S13 ca18det schematic and troubleshoot with it, but this shit has me puzzeled.

Danny

then try swapping out the Cam angle sensor. SOmetimes when they go out yoou'll get spark but no fuel or fuel but no spark. Keep in mind that the CAS can also be 180 degrees out.

I have checked the drop resistor box and I got 6.1ohms of resistance.

Why would the CAS/Cam angle sensor control the pulsation of the injector? I have fuel to the rail and spark at the coils, but no fuel coming out of the injectors.

Either way i appreciate your input and I'll look into the CAS and Cam angle sensor.

You have all good grounds right?

don't know if it can do that, but CA's are really picky about grounds, you never know.

I read thur the FSM and i have hooked up all the ground accordinly(sp). You would be surprised if you saw how easy this wire harness is to install. It's the 99% as easy as the Sr harness.

I'll post up some pictures of the work and schematics I been reading.

I know, I've installed them before

nothing out of the ordinary

but you would be surprised with people and grounds.
