I din't say that he "needed" to keep it at that displacement. I only stated that if it were me that I would keep it a 1.6L.
The reason I would choose to keep the engine displacement low is the fact that it will produce enough torque for the street without overpowering the chassis. In my opinion high torque isn't needed in street driven Hondas. |

Stroking the motor with such a short deck height is a bad idea. You would only be building a time bomb.
