well i actually add about a quart or so of transmission fluid to my engine about a day before i change my oil. after driving around town for a day youll be suprised how much nasty shit you can get out. the tranny fluid helps to clean the inside of your engine, like sludge and deposits and shit

so nobody has heard any thing about the brake fluid. I noticed it is mostly older car enthusiest that are telling me this

so nobady has heard of this because that is wierd my uncle has been doin cars since before i was born and he said this so had to of come from somewhere

Not saying its not true, I just wouldnt do it unless I had another motor laying around and desperately was eager to start the swap. Hell yea man, sawdust will clear that knock right up

I have done this before to my friends 90 Civic. His car use to smoke like hell so we fixed it by adding brake fluid to the oil and it did help cut the smoke down.
