Bogging/losing power
I searched alot, but it seems as if there is a different answer for different situations. So I'll see if I can get some closure on this. While driving on the highway (75ish) today, my car just started bogging, couldn't go above 40mph. I had this happen to me a while ago (7 weeks ago or so), and it fixed itself I guess. So it happened again today. Over the past couple of weeks, my car has been idling high at first start (2500 or so). After running for a while it will resume normal idle. It also smells like raw fuel, I don't know what that means. I recently changed the clutch 1k miles ago, but the clutch has air in it still (or something else) because the pedal has not much pressure at all. I also did not have my clutch inspection cover on (the one on the top by the clutch fork and it appears to be a little oil around the edge. I just got home (Was heading to the beach when this happened and had to limp it 2 hours home) and don't feel like doing anything but need some help brainstorming on what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

I seem to always forget that in these damn threads. 2002 Subaru WRX, AEM cold air, custom up and down pipe, 3" exhaust. I'm leading to think it might be a boost leak?

Nope, nothing. I was thinking that was a possibility also, but if it's linked to the fuel smell, then would that still make sense. I may clean that tomorrow and see if I can get it good.

Yea, if it says it's getting to much air it's gonna dump fuel. So normally running really rich an engine will bog and act like it's gonna cut off. See if you can go somewhere and get it hooked up to a scanner. They can watch the MAF signal while the cars running.

I was thinking that, or maybe a boost leak somewhere.

Re: Bogging/losing power
I don't think I could even get out to a shop to be honest. I know I was pissing so many people off on 55mph backroads going 30 haha. I'd have to take route 3 (4 lane 55mph) and I'm not sure I really want to do that.
