body repair work
QUESTION>>DOIN SOME BODY WORK TO MY PRELUDE.. HAVING AN ISSUE GETTING THE MOLD TO MATCH THE ORIGINAL BODY.. IT'S NOT AS SMOOTH AS I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE..I HAVE SANDED IT AND USED ROTARY SANDERS/SMOOTHERS TO GET IT AS SMOOTH AS I CAN BUT, IT STILL FEELS LIKE THE ACTUAL MOLD IS UNEVEN..LIKE BUMPY ALMOST..IM TRYING TO AVOID USING MORE BONDO BODY FILLER. AND THEN GLASSING THAT OVER.. BUT SHOULD I USE THE BODY FILLER TO FILL IN THE LOW PARTS, AND THEN SAND IT EVEN?..THANKS FOR ANYONE'S HELP

Re: body repair work
Take a paint stick and some sand paper and block sand it by hand to get all of the waves out. Then skim coat it with some putty to fill in the low spots and pin holes in the other putty. Then block sand it again and you should be ready to prime it. PM me if you have any other questions and i can try to explain it for you.
