hmmm. that's really weird blowing a fuse shouldn't matter the speed, unless you're speed is causing something to short some how... weird

first thing i checked was to make sure nothin was groundin by the linkage, an the cd player has been in for a while.

I would think that it has to do with going that fast on 64 with it's "speedbumps" and all. Sounds like you're knocking something loose.

So what RPM at 70 in 5th gear?
Do you ever drive at that same RPM in a different gear for the same amount of time at night?
