Default BLOCK QUESTION!!

ALright i have an obd1 gsr but the block is gone because cylinder number 3 is cracked. Everything else is reusable on the block so what should i go with?

I was thinking a bare gsr block and just buy a piston and rod but all the blocks im finind are obd2...will this matter with my harness or will it be fine?

Let me see what you guys think i should do..IM looking to go back to stock gsr and have hardly any money!! Hope you guys can help....and I DO NOT want to go ls/vtec thanks

If i took a shop a car with a blown block and a bare block and asked them to do all the work and put the other block under the head how much should they charge? This shop is charging me 1200 for the labor and plus i have to supply the bare block? Wouldnt it be smarter just to buy a complete gsr motor?

If it's just a cracked sleeve, then yes you can sleeve it because they will replace the sleeves.

Complete b18b1 swap and turbo later
