Hey i need help. What is the best way to seal a intake manifold for a d16y8? I think i warped it when i hand sand it down. Could that be a problem? Is there anything out there that will just go around on the outside of the manifold? Like cover up the part where the intake manifold meets with the head? Please help, I am getting a really bad leak..Thanks

 

get it milled at a machine shop. dont half ass it. if you fucked it up really bad get a new one. you shouldnt have to seal shit, the intake manifold gasket should give you a total and complete seal.

 

just pump that fucker full of high-temp RTV.

 

i did do a half ass job since i blew my first d motor. i am looking for a new one. i did put a shit load of honda bond between it and the head, but all that honda bond went into the manifold itself and also clog up one of my injectors. oh yea..i got pissed and kicked it and broke off one of the bolt on the head itself...so basically i think i am screwed...thanks for you help guys!!

lol, just buy a new motor, they cant be expensive
