the type r engine is fine for boost. what do you plan to do with it? drag, autox, road race?

what boost you plan to run?

but an all around turbo for what i think most people will use is a 50trim T04e compressor with stage 3 T3 turbine in a .63 a/r housing.

cheapturbo.com owns you for 549$

people need to not listen to what they read and try shit when building a motor. i wasnt even thinking of shad when i wrote that. I know you reading this bish....i'm coming for you now. hahahhah well not really but.......

anyway if you plan to boost low then dont get the 50 trim, get the smaller 46 trim or even 40 trim. but if you plan 10-15 and maybe 20psi get this turbo
http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/gart3to450tr.html

if you plan for race spec at 25-30psi, get a 60 trim on a T4 turbine.

STAY AWAY FROM THE 60-1 no matter what people tell you. i dont care if someone makes 450hp with one of them.
