Default b20 swap

i plan on going b20 in my ek but i have a few questions

1. do i have to use a ls intake manifold

2. what mounts would i need to use

3. what ecu would be best

any helpful tips about this swap would help out alot, i did research but didnt find what i was lookin for

yes si mounts will work. as well as a HASports kit will be fine too. as far as harness goes I would go wit ha ls harness and be sure it is the right OBD2. as there is an A and B

are you going hydraulic tranny or cable? i dont think you have to worry about this because an EK engine bay is bigger than an EF but i had to use a b16 crank pully to fit it. what obd are you going obd2 obd1 obd0 ? ecu depends on what OBD ...

Why would anyone put a cable tranny in an EK? or go ODB 0 ?


anyways.


Some B20's come with an LS style manifold that works just fine, others have a very tall plenum that you cannot use because they hit your hood.

A Stock LS ecu should work fine. You can use the factory harness and add an obd2-1 conversion harness if you want to tune on a obd1 setup.
