Personally it all depends.

If you're going to stay all motor, i would honestly highly recommend not trying to get the B20 block past 8k RPM's, without upgrading the bottom end.

Just as Xeno said, if you're looking for a decent fast ride, you've basically already got one. A b20b w/vtec isn't really a joke.

You're producing more lower RPM power than most people, and considering u've got a b16 head, u're poducing the higher RPM powers as well.

The b20 block is just basically a bored out b18 block. The thinner cylinder walls is whats going to get you, so if u're lookin to produce more than 250 out of your vtec b20, then i would HIGHLY suggest that you upgrade the bottom end before anything else.

I'm not a honda head, xeno can verify that, i'm a mazda head, but the same thing goes with most of the mazda engines (especially since i mainly delt with the V6, not the I4's.)

in the future, BEFORE you post, yes, you should do some research.

In the end its more over personal preference (what isn't? lol)

if you want to dish out the $$$$$$ to upgrade the bottom end, by all means, do so. I know inline pro has a fully built bottom end (eagle rods, mahle forged gold pistsons, sleeved, shot peened, the whole 9 yards) for about $800. And thats JUST the bottom end.

hope u find what u're lookin for, take care.

Leave the crank in there.
Leave the stock sleeves.

Put some pistons in there.(Rs Machines 84mm ITR ones)
Get some rods with arp rod bolts of some sort (stock or aftermarket)

FUCK A CRANK GIRDLE. Keep. It. Simple.

Rev that shit to 8500.

There is a difference from expereience and reading bullshit on the internet.

You don't need a port-job.
Get a set of cams and some valve springs and retainers.

Get a good tuning software and select a good tuner in your area.

Also, don't foget a really nice header. No Dc-Sport shit.
