Default B18C1 tranny issues

So guys... I swapped a b18 into my del sol... and well my tranny is acting up now. I dont have 1st or second gear. But ALL of my other gears are just dandy. The shift linkage is the correct one, I bought the del sol vtec linkage brand new. When I had to take it to he local shop, to have some other work finished up that I couldnt at home, aka welding the midpipe together, they said that either one of my forks have gone bad. Or my gear box is bad. Any ideas. and if it is a fork, which one would it be? I went to hondaautomotiveparts.com and there are three different fork assemblies. And the "bitch"-pin isnt the issue, Ive taken it back out and put it back in... still no good.

well, the bad part about trannies is there is no real telling whats wrong until it is pulled out they were right not to make you buy a part and tell you something it might not be.

Shhit man i wouldnt take it anywhere...tranny work isnt that hard...I pulled my Z6 tranny apart, and traded a few things from a DX tranny into mine...like the aluminum half circle shit that holds the gears together...mine had chunks missing, and a whole arm missing. so traded that...arent to many parts i ciould trade tho, the Z6 tranny had all bigger bearings and shit, so i got all them new...
what happened...input shatf bearing came apart in my tranny, i lost 1st and 2nd gear. but only costed like $70 in parts thru OEM honda. tranny shop wanted $200 to pull it down and look and put it back if they didnt see nothing. HA. hardest part doing the tranny is jus taking all the bolts out. hah aint shit to it.... i believe i printed out like a 10 page writeup off honadtech to help me tho, put it back on....not a single fucking problem now. ( besidies cracked casing) had fun doing it, took plenty of pics...so now next time ill know how from the go, and save even more money $$$$
