b18c1 into a 92 civic hatch

Default b18c1 into a 92 civic hatch

i was wonderin if anyone had put a integra gsr b18c1 into a 92 civic hatchback. if so what parts do i need other then the motor to make it fit? and will the wiring harness match up to the one on the civic? if you all would leave comments, tips or anwser the question it woul be appreciated

use a 92-95 ex sohc wiring harness. b18c1 motor, tranny, axles, obd-1 p72, obd-1 b-series mounts, and a 92 is already wired for vtec so your good. goes right in.

you will still have to wire the knock sensor , also you will have to wire the iab's also i would just use the gsr wire harness other wise you will have to modify the single cam one.

true, but oddly, when i had mine, i did not need to wire up the knock, and never did, but when i spun all my bearings and had knocks, vtec wouldn't kick in. i guess it either has another sensor or is already hooked up. i am still baffeled.

were u running a chipped p28? i know when u use a chipped p28 u dont have to wire the knock sensor up
