okay how much would it cost to put a B18C1 engine into a HONDA CRX?

Would it be worth the effort?

Could i fit a turbo after the swap?

CRX's are very light
they dont resell very well.
a gsr swap into a Crx would need the following.
b swap to ef mounts
b swap to ef shift linkage
then to wire it up

i may be missing something....

to answer your question, it is worth the effort and totally worth it. Its not a hard swap at all, but jesus, go research the wrx, then the crx and learn the difference. also a turbo will fit just fine.
Edit- i forgot about the whole ef thing. It might be easier to put it into an eg. (92-95 civic)

yes deff easier to put into a eg

and most of the time in order to fit a downpipe on the ef/da chassis the lower tortion bar needs to be modified or replaced with a aftermarket.

is it worth it?

to each his own....

i wouldnt build a ef unless i absolutely had to... or wanted a easy replacement shell seeing how you can buy them running for like 700 bucks....

To give you and idea of what you are looking at with a Rex...

I'm doing a CRVtec into a CRX and here is what I've got so far:

Motor and trans - 1900
Mounts - 450
Linkage - 150
ECU - 100
Intake - 180
Exhaust - 450
Header - 450
Full-Race cross member - 450
Full-Race radiator and Fan - 400
OBX LSD (good enough for a DD) - 450

I still need

Axles - 300 (for new DSS Stage 1's)
Rywire Harness - 190
Miscellaneous hoses, fluids, nuts, bolts, brackets...

Total - 5570 (= a grip of money, to quote Highend)

That's assuming you are doing all your own work. You've already got the engine and trans it sounds like, so do some math.

Can you do it cheaper, sure. I'm trying to do it right.

Oh, and good luck finding a CRX without rust in the rear quarter panels...

Just remember, it's never, EVER as cheap as you think.
