just b/c i got the two motors right now i'm trying to figure out wall can be done with them...like what all is swapable (sp)

You want the bigger block (B20) but swapping the head won't really do too much for you unless you're swapping it for a VTEC head.

no, no - you're missing the point.
neither the b18a, nor the b20 have vtec heads.
if you have a b20b/z, just use it with its original head.

Use the B20 block, period. More displacement will get you more torque. But I wouldn't do a head swap unless it's with one of the VTEC motors (B16*, B18c*)
