how hard is it to swap a 92 ls motor into a 99 civic i know its obd2 an the motor is obd1 . could i make this work without getting codes and bad runnin. someone hit me up please with any info. peace

shit for a motor that old..might as well change out the pistons and rods...get some new stock ones or get some aftermarket ones if you got some loot.

Hmmm..wiring is a pain! Find a converter it'll make it easier. Other than that the engine should drop in. You'll need a 99si rear tranny mount and the mount from the engine side of a b16. The CKF is alittle tricky because of the two wires vs. the three on a DX harness..hmmm and the secondary o2 will have to welded in because most swaps don't come w/ the cat.conv..it's much easier to run an OBDII engine but if you have a OBDI it's not that hard just have to know your wiring. crs_autosolution

Proper wiring should make it work fine...but it might be cheaper to look for a used OBDII motor...I think EEK is selling a B18C1 somewhere in this forum for cheap...
