ok so got a 92 gsr that is messed up but the motor is fine. im wantin to swap the motor into my eg si... what all is needed to drop it in?? is it direct swap or what???

stock DC2 mounts, obd0-obd1 conversion, dc2 shift linkage think thats bout it, oh and hard wire VTEC

the car is a si eg sir. its already wired for vtec. and i think the 92-93 gsr is already obd1 ill have to look. i was told the mounts will work other than the tranny bc its cable

yeah get a hydro trans from a LS or GSR.

yea thats what i want to do. idk want to have to get the conversion mount. i know i prob need a b series shift link but my main ? is do the mounts work from the gsr. i know that da mounts dont work but the 92-93 gsr is different from the ls

hasport mounts and shift linkeage as well as hydro to cable conversion and it should fit in your eg no problem.... my friend had an ek and i know the stock mounts for the gsr worked in his shell... im not sure about eg's tho...

You would need DC into EG mounts (Hasport, etc.) but unless you get a cable into hydro mount, just get a hydro tranny with 94+ Integra shift linkage and you can use stock DC (94+ Integra) mounts.
