Question b16a rotor

what did the b16a come out of because i cant figure it out and i need to know so i can get my car running again apparantly not all b16 rotors are the same so if you have a b16a dizzy rotor and cap let me know or if you know what it came out of thanks

no shit they are not all the same. there is obd0 (89-91), obd1 (92-95) and obd2 (96-00 , 99-00 off SI's generally). i would imagine they would all be the same anyways but the obd0 distributors may have had different rotors than the 92+.

did you rev your motor up to 10k rpm and blow it up?? i heard that this kid was asked to rev it to 10krpm and blew it up bout a month ago

i did alot of the work putting the motor in. when we went to start it there was no spark so i looked at it for awhile it turns out that the rotor broke, when i took off the cap it was just kinda wobling around in there it had broken the screw that holds it down

yeah ran into the same problem trying to sorce a rotor for my obd0 motor. they never carried the engine here so pepboys and advanced auto didnt have a replacement. i had to wait a few days for one to pop up on ebay.
