b16 swap
just finished a b16 swap into my ek its converted to obd1 with a crome p28 cars runs find maybe a little laggy and then when it hits vtec it bbogs , kinda like rev limiter.
x2
who put the motor in? did you change harnesses?
when i first bought my car, it was doing the same thing. it was bogging when vtec engaged. it was also throwin a solid CEL.
it took me and a few buddies a long ass time to figure out what was wrong. i changed the vtec solenoid, distributor, plugs, wires, ecu.
come to find out, the SHOP i got it from had the wrong engine harness in it. my car is a 98 hatch but had a 99-00 engine harness in it.
we figured out the problem, changed the harness and the problem was fixed.
if you were closer, i would say i have a p30 you could put in there to see if that's the problem.

if every thing is wired right, timing is set right, it is in proper temp range and no CELs i would be pointing the finger at the computer. i would borrow one from a friend and see if that fixes it
what motor was in the integra, same one the ecu is running now? you did say it was tuned on chrome. if it was not tuned for the current motor it can make the vtec crossover all jacked up and it will seem like its hitting a rev limiter
