I am taking my D16 head to them Monday to get rebuilt, or should I go else where??

 

i didn't know they gre apples in newport news. wonder if they are sour?
what are u doing with apples in a motor head though?

I have never had a problem with them. Just the fact that they are really busy and might take a little bit.

A friend of mine just got his H22 block back from there. They took it apart, cleaned everything, sleeved it, bored it, honed it, installed balance shaft eliminator kit and put everything back together for right around 750-800 bucks. Motor looks really good, ill get pics of it tomorrow.

I had a 4age head takin there and got a valve job, milled, all cleaned up and put back together for real cheap also. Of course idk how it ran b/c i sold it.

 

my block was cleaned and bored there, and also had a port/polish job done and my valves installed in the head.

i've had no issues with their work.

 

Just got my head back from Apples! They did a good job from the looks of it. Just need to put my clutch in and get the valves adjusted and I'm on the roads.

 

yea they are good i had about 4 flywheels resurfaced and all my major motor work done there p/p, 3 angle, piston rods ect ect havent had a problem not to bad on price either chad hooks it up
