I was driving to my friends house...trying to baby my transmission cuz it's about a week from going out when my car all of a sudden started to get a little hotter than usual. I kept going trying to make it to my friends house about 5 minutes away and it got hotter and smoke started coming out the hood. I pulled over and popped the hood and antifreeze was everywhere. I haven't gotten a chance to get under the car yet, but I couldn't see anything from up top. Is there any other possibility than maybe a radiator hose or something popped off? It's parked and locked up right now...I'm not taking any chances.

most likely a radiator hose if it was all over the place.

was there smoke coming out of the exhaust?

 

nope...only out of the hood...I think for some reason my radiator might have cracked

 

its most likely just the radiator hose, check to make sure it is on tight , if its not that you might have just busted the hose and it just needs to be replaced

 

pour water in it, and start it. pop the hood, look to see where its coming from.

 

It ended up being a heater hose that busted apart....running for the front of the car to the firewall

 

well thats good then, not expensive to fix, must be a relief
