Default aluminized?

Pentroof in Japan used to make some really good-looking blue "aluminized" show pieces, like reservoir covers, etc. However, they have been discontinued.

Since there are places that will polish, powdercoat, chrome, etc. does anybody know of any places that will "aluminize" car parts???

Looks really cool from the pics. (If you wanna see, search through Pentroof's site, or check out Endless' brake calipers, they are also aluminized).

I wasn't expecting much feedback.
Never saw anything "aluminized" until recently. But I won't give up my quest.

Bump.

This?

If so, that looks like they were anodized. I know a place by me that can do that.

(BTW, what is that?)

Yes that's it. Those are reservoir covers (ie: brake master cylinder, overflow catch tanks, etc.).

So I guess "anodized" = "aluminized"?

What is the place? I live @ one hour from F-berg.

I dunno if its the same as "aluminized". I never heard that term before. But anodizing is done to aluminum.

http://www.focuser.com/atm/anodize/anodize99.html

The place is called B&M (I think...I have a business card at home). I haven't personally had anything anodized, but I saw some samples they had on their wall.

If that is what you want, there should be some shops by you that do that. Try asking some of the chroming/powdercoating places.

Awesome. Thanks alot for the link and everything.

Yeah, I think "aluminized" is the japanese term for "anodized". I've seen all kinds of things referred to w/ unique terminology in Japan and the UK.

Thanks again.
