Altenator

hey i have an 89 civic hatch and my altenator keeps dying. i just put a brand new one one and in less then 2 weeks its dead. any ideas?

Could it be the plug or wires. i checked the fuse and its fine

try napa... they have lifetime warranty. I have never heard anything good about autozone's quality of alternators.

yeah oem or napa, i've goten a couple of bad things from autozone before. namely a starter < the most recent.

i got an oem one, well its out of a 99 (y7).... but i think it will work for you.

thats your problem right there.....try a used oem unit. take the autozone unit back.

i think the plug is different on that one
