Couldn't get my crx aligned at Firestone today, too low. They couldn't get it on the lift. They told me about this Bart's/Bert's place. Anyone been there?

nooo, do not go there. It's called Bert's Alignment. what they is bend the hub arm by heating it up and bending it to fix your camber. if you bring a tape measure (and you have street tires that at least one lined grove around it) i can help you get your toe to 0 and you'll be fine.

 

dont know how low ur car is.....

but talk to doug allen at hall acura in NN, hes a tech on the red team, and he did my lowered car. cost a bit more but its done right.

 

I had to drive my car to the alignment shop with the front bumper taken off in order to do my alignment..

 

It wasn't my bumper. It was my frame!

 

bert's alignment is the only place i'll trust when it comes to alignment.

Bert's is a good place, but you have to know what to tell them...

They are one of two places that I trust for real alignments. The other is Muzzell's in crackville Norfolk.

If you roll into Berts and tell them "my car is eating tires, make it stop", they WILL get it aligned right, promise. They are very good at it.

However, Bert's is also quite capable of doing real alignments. I.E. I want these numbers, do it. And they will, without complaint, and do it correctly.
