Default accord questions

i have a 92 accord, and i recently blew the engine. i was thinking about getting an h22 but i figured i'd find out more info before i buy anything. my tranny is practically brand new so i was wondering if it will work with the h22a. i've asked around a bit and i've been told that i could simply buy the engine and ecu and that'll work. but to be honest i have no clue haha. would it be better/easier to just get another f22 and turbo it??? any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. thx

for the price of the f22 turbo kit you can get an h22 and come out with the same power...

the other thing is, your tranny might be new and it will work with the h22, but its not as strong, you might want to just buy the complete swap engine and tranny, and just keep the h22 until the f22 breaks

thx for the reassurance that it'll work haha. so where would you guys say a good place around the 757 would be to get the engine? and what would i expect to pay for a jdm around 2k? and if i kept everything but the engine and ecu would i have to replace the wire harness? or rewire anything?

scrap the idea of boosting the f22 unless you want to try and be "different"
