Thats what I have in the rear of my GSX. Pretty much all of the shocks are the same. The difference is in the length of the shock. The GSX model has shocks that are about an inch longer than the rest.
There are a ton of chrysler/mitsubishi cars that the rear suspension is interchangeable.
eclipse, avenger, sebring, stratus r/t,....
Just take a peak at it if they look similar they are
The new style upper control arms are tubular. I have them on mine and have not run into any alignment probs. They seem to be spec'd the same also.

So if it is interchangable, would I be able to use an eclipse's lowering springs on the Galant? If so, what year Eclipse suspension could I use? Also I know the Galant has the 4G64 in it, would I be able to use any preformance parts from for a 4G63? I'm not to familiar with Mistubishi motors so any help would be great.
