91 mr2 n/a to turbo 2.2l mr2
My brother has a 1991 non-turbo mr2 with the 2.2 litre engine. We are planning on keeping the 2.2 non-turbo engine instead of going with the 2.0 turbo swap just to be different and save a little money in the long run. Im looking for any advice or help on finding parts or places to get parts for this project. Thanks for anyones help in advance

Just about everything you need to know. THe short story is that you will have to put the head from the 3sgte onto the 5sfe that you have. You are going to have to rebuild your bottom end to. It will actually be alot more expensive than just swapping, but hey whatev. If you really wanna be different, and the object of envy, go for the Beams motor. Its probably one of the best toyota motors ever made. You could even go with the v6 swap-trd supercharger combo.
