Default 91 hatch shift slipage

So i just bought a 91 civic hatch it runs pretty well, but the the shifter wants to kick out of gear but it doesnt do it all the time it mostly does it in second but it will do it in any other gear as well any ideas?

Thrust washers in tranny maybe stabalizer bushing a few things it could be

CHECK TRANNY FLUID.... use a good 10w30 or honda mtf

Synchros will do that too I think.. I'm leaning toward synchros just because it's much worse in one gear than another, etc.. Provious owner probably shifted too hard and too fast..

Both of those suck with my experiances GM Sycromesh Friction Modifyed is the only tranny fluid i use. if your tranny fluid was low you would also notice hard shifting and grinding.

hmm ill have to check the fluid. but it might be the synchros too.

its a D series...lol im almost 100% sure its the synchros. check the fluid and if its fine then you need to start lookin for a new tranny...
