I had the same problem..and just put a PR4 ecu in it....let me go to 7000

yeah...i couldnt find a pr3 ecu..or a chipped ecu to run one wire vtec for my Y8 sohc vtec swap..so i just used a Pr4 till i could find one..and then i sold the crx.
it ran normal...but it will idle a lil bit higher
