i was wondering if anyone on here ever owned one and how did u like it...

I've had several 80's E30's
1987 325iS is a great car.. It has the "older" look with the big steel bumpers and sporty front spoiler with foglights.
1988 had a slight update with the tail lights and bumpers(still metal), and 89-91 are the most desirable because of the nicer plastic bumpers.

All the 325iS used the same M20 engine, so you won't experience much difference in power although I have driven some M20 cars that flew like a bat out of hell compared to others...
Make sure the car you are looking at has had the timing belt recently changed.. Change this belt ever 50k on this car.. I've seen them break right at 60k.

E30 "i" cars are becoming more popular because they are so fun to drive and they like to take the newer engines, so the really nice flawless ones will cost you as much as an E36 these days.
