OK, I just picked up a 93 turbo Eclipse, and I'm clueless as to what I'm looking at here. Please don't flame me if they're stupid questions, I'm a newb at DSM.

Are turbo pistons the same as n/a pistons in this motor?

If not, can the turbo pistons be put in a n/a block and will it work just the same?

Basically, I need to replace the longblock, and I need to know if a n/a block will be ok with turbo.

the pistons/rods are different. aside from that, a turbo block has oil squirters and the NA block does not

But can a n/a block be modified to accept turbo..ie: oil squirters installed?

Can I reuse the parts I need from the turbo block in the n/a block?

stock turbo blocks are all around...just find a turbo block and work with that instead of modding the NA block...
