Default 3" Exhaust Bend

Ok well I need some advice here. Im running the HKS T4 Manifold on my car and Im thinking that I will have a fitment problem with the 3" downpipe.

I only have roughly 3 1/2" to play with space wise and the piping needs to basically do an immediate 90 degree bend. Is this possible? Or is there some other way around this.

For a temp. downpipe, I just cut a U-bend pipe as it starts to bend, then welded a "plate" over the hole since it makes an irregular circle. I will post pictures after Im out of the shower.

i dont know what car this is but in the long run it may be easier to relocate the alternater so the bend does not have to be so sharp
