Default 240sx parking lights

i don't know much at all about cars. so when my 240 kept blowing the fuse for my parking lights i took it in to an auto electronic shop in the beach. i told them that everytime i change out the fuse and go to use my parking light it blows immediately and my gauges and parking lights don't work. so when i came to pick it up they said they found only a bad bulb and no wire problems. of course the next day it blew again. if anybody can help it would be great or recomend a place that knows what the hell they are doing.. cause i don't thanks

sounds like your fuse is too low for the current (ie a 10A fuse when it should be a 15A, etc) or you could have a bad connection that is grounding out.

Check for water in the housing/connectors, and spots where the wires may have gotten pinched, etc.. You could have a bad relay or something too.. If you know your way around a multimeter you can find out all kinds of stuff about whats going on.. I'm sure the electric shop probably did all that, but you can never assume..

the shop said that they checked for all the stuff like burned up wires and stuff and they said they didn't see anything. they had to have missed something if the problem is still there. and i checked the book for the size fuse and it asks for a 15 which is whats in there. but another thing that was brought to my attention was the lights for the shifter (its an auto) have not worked since i bought it. so if it is in the same system that could be where the problem is. but the wiring diagram in the book says that it is not in that system. yet the book doesn't show what system it is in.
