Default 2000 Civic Ex misfire problems?

I've got a 2000 Ex with a stock Y8 just intake and catback.
It was bringing up codes for catylitic system inefficient, random misfire, misfire cyl 1, and misfire cyl 2.
I checked for spark and fuel and its all good there.
Then i checked the timing. Also good.
I pulled the fuel injector plugs no problems there.
The cat IS gutted now it was clogged pretty damn bad.
I'm out of ideas so if you got one throw it at me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You sure your spark plug wires are good?

what does the rotor button look like? and the rotor itself is it chewed up? how strong of a spark do you have? whats fuel pressure @ idle? is there debris inside of the cap? are the injectors clogged or leaking? take them out and put small buckets under neath to cheak for drips when they are key off engine off

how are the grounds (t stat)?

The cat efficiency code is usually caused by an O2 sensor problem. The ECU compares the front and rear O2 sensor signals (the cat is between them) and uses that to see if the cat is working properly.

So you might just have an O2 sensor problem, and now you're going to have to do some extra work (because you've gutted the cat) and the O2 sensor will have to be spaced out from the exhaust or something like that.

How did you actually determine that the cat was clogged?

the catalyst efficency code p0420 was most likley caused by the p0301 and p0302 that are in the car and it demolished the car from either a way too lean conditon or way to rich condition dosn't matter which both can take the cat out depending on how long this has been going on and it definatly wouldn't be the first time i have seen a clogged catalyst on one of these vechicles
