Last night my first gear wouldn't go in. I tried engaging the clutch as far as I could. I have a stock clutch with 68,000miles on it. No prior grinding or slipping. Just wouldnt go into first gear. Then my second gear would pop out after stepping on the gas. So I got frustrated and jammed first gear in as hard as I could. Made a loud ass grinding noise for the first time but luckily it went in and second gear doesn't pop out anymore.B]The only problem I have now is that when I engage in first I can feel it trying to pop back into neutral when I give it gas, but it stays in I can feel it tapping back. Eventually I feel like first gear is going to pop back out in the future.[/B] But no grinding or slipping. Anybody know whats going to happen to my tranny? Clutch, shift linkage, and flywheel problems in the near future?
