1g talon tach

i gota 1g talon tsi

and my tach doesnt work
does anyone have an idea why

also i have an s-afc and my rpms read wrong
i have i set to 4 cyl, set on carmen
every thing else reads fine except my rpms

any ideas

check the plug ontop of your transmission sometimes that will send a bad signal if its not all the way in

how much is the afc of by? does it cut your rpm in half?
did they tach work before afc install?

yeah it cuts the rpms in half

naw the tack never worked so im pretty sure its something to do
with wireingjust dont know where to look

i'm thinking your using the wire on the fire wall under the hood for a tach signal?
you need to find the wire by the ecu. i'm not sure which one it is off hand. might be green check the dsm vfaq's
