very well put together turbo cars for the time and if maintained then is a good find for someone looking for cheap power. Usually go for 2000 or less for the most part but a very well taken care of one goes for 4k or even more. They come with a front mount innercooler which a lot of time gets stolen for backyard turbo projects for other cars. If this motor is stable I would up the boost a lil bit and call it a day. not a bad car to consider

its not a chrysler and a mitsubishi. It is either or, but basically the same with the exception of some of the body styling and badges. Chrysler, dodge, plymouth, and mitsubishi produced a great deal of similar cars in the early 90's. do some research. check out the starion on turbomirage.com for some inspiration and swap ideas.

i own one..and i like it a lot. its very reliable to me. Gets great gas mileage, and its a fun car to drive. you just have to do a little research on them, but from what ive read up,they are just like every other 4 cylinder.

i think mitsubishi made a deal with dodge/plymouth/chrysler to produce some cars in america; probably b/c they felt like the american people would look down upon imported cars and would feel more comfortable buying something home grown.

well the cars share chassis and some even share engines. dodge stealth = mitsubishi 3000gt. plymouth laser = mitsubishi eclipse. chrysler conquest = mitsubishi starion. i know thats a ford that shares parts with the 1st gen rx7.

Mitsu/Mopar have been "in-bed" since the 70's... do some homework

1983 was the first year for the starion ( narrow body ) , 1984 was the first year for the conquest ( narrow body ) , 1986 was the first year they introduced the wide body , 1987 was the year they changed the fuel injection setup , you still have the car ?

What do you mean by this? I just got me an 87 Narrow Body Starion. I has not run in about a year or so. I will try it out and buy a new battery for it?

Will the wide bosy OEM wheels fit into this car? How does the stock intercooler look like?

Will the wide body front fenders and bumper fit the narrow body?

Sorry for all the questions I am new to the vehicle.
