Good luck. You're going to get crap for $650 used. If all you want is to go low you can get some Vmaxx's for like $400 brand new.

Well good luck with that. BTW, there's nothing wrong with ground controls. I was running Koni's and Ground Controls on my miata. Handled awesome, rode pretty well, and was pretty damn low with more to go on the sleeve itself.

well i still to this day have half assed my suspension, and im ready to step up to full coilovers

Ground controls are full coilovers, based on what a coilover is anyway. Its just not a one peice coilover made into a shock. And Koni's and ground controls are a national championship autocross/road race proven package.

But, either way, they're not for everyone. I just dont like people having misconceptions that ground controls are somehow less good than a full coilover setup. They accomplish the same task, the problem is when people pair ground controls with high rate springs on junky ass shocks like tokico's or KYB's or something that cant control the spring.

well damn, i see the miata vets are on my ass haha, well then whats the best bang for the buck i can get in a miata and please dont say ground control, i was gonna buy some D2's for my 240 and i read up on them and nothing but good comes out really, and i had a talk with some of the people at MRD and they recommended them too....but that was for a 240, what about a miata?

I had D2s on my MR2 and I loved them, good stuff for the price IMO. My Miata has JIC Magic FLT-A2s on it.

yeah the d2's only run about 850 brand new, maybe i'll be able to buy a used set and stay within the budget
