Friend of mine has a replacement T-45 transmission sitting in his garage and the old one unbolted sitting on a transmission jacks stand under the car. His wife just got out of the hospital and I've been out of town too much to help him myself.

If anyone has some experience in swapping/installing transmissions and is able to help, he's willing to put up some cash(reasonable rate)/pizza/beers for anyone who could help. PM or e-mail me and I'll put you in contact with him.

 

That's one thing I never have done yet on the car. Granted I am gonna install my 03 cobra clutch kit/flywheel as soon as I get the bonus check this month and a few other goodies.

 

mother fuck....it takes like an hour

16 bolts (4 shifter, 4 trans to bellhousing, 4 driveshaft to diff, 2 crossmember to subframe, and 2 trans mount to crossmember) dont have to drop the exhaust, but it makes it easier.

 

Dammit if I had 2 good hands right now....

 

leave the shifter, 2 shifter handle....14 bolts.

 

i was hoping that he was ditching that shitcan stocker and replacing it with a decent one
