depends on the engine, if you're running an equal sized or smaller engine than the LS, it will probably be fine. May not run optimally, but it'll run fine.. If you need an adapter harness for an OBD-1 ECU let me know.

the 99-00 ek's have a different harness, obd2b. And the newer tegs that are obd2b also have an immobilizer in them.
