AC prob ( help, its summer and im melting)
Anyways SIextreme recharged my AC and it is full, yet when i cut it on the RPMs go from like 750 to 2k ( not exagerating either ) and no cold air
wtf?? any clues? my Idle air control valve does need to be replaced ( fluxuating idle ) and i will have my TB cleaned ( its also coned ) so i dont know if this effects the ac in anyway, let me know please

not sure how much it will cost but if this helps i spent $410 on my A/C last weekend. Leaked out all its freyon (sp?) and when they tried to put new freyon in it sprayed everywhere through some schrader (sp?) valve so they replaced that then put in new freyon and recharged the system. Oh yea and they put some dye in the system to check for leaks too. I dont think you will spend more than that.
Did you check to see if the compressor even turns on?
When most cars turn on the AC should rise a few hundred rpm.. definately not 2k though, although with a dying IACV.. who knows
