Is there any reason it should ever be turned off? I'm sure it would help weed out trolls and douche bags. I'm sure I'm wrong but it should always be on. IMO

Haha, I agree though. And it's really funny how some n00bs showing off their douchery, will rep someone then turn their rep right back off...

Usually the people clamoring for it to always be on are the reason it was turned off by default in the first place

Yeah it stays on and if they turn it off it stays off for a month before they have the option to turn it back on. That'll keep people from doing exactly what you said. Or if people turn rep off the rep you leave just turns to neutral? IDK mabe I'm just ranting.
