Wheres My Upholstery People At??
ok, as some of you know and most of you dont.
someone cut my convertable top a few months ago...
by the way your a pussy piece of shit if your on the boards, and i think you are
....
anyway. a whole new top is going to run me about$1,400 even at my employee honda price, ill pass on that. so im going to use most of the insurance money to eventually get a hardtop
but i do need to do something about my original top.
well a friend of mine whos also got an s2k has an old top that was also cut. he will give me the material so i have some of the ORIGINAL material that is used for the top. a rectangle about 12 inches by 48 inches needs to replace the hole that was cut.
anyone here do this stuff or KNOW anyone that will give me a really good price?? i do want some professional work done though.
thanks everyone. you can either PM or post any info.

yes, i guess i want to throw a big patch on it, but i want it to look as stock as possible. i just want it to look like it belongs, so i want it to go across from one end of the top to the other. and i think its going to take more then someone who can just sew
this is not my top but a good enough pick, the whole section that is circled is the part that would need to be replaced. you can see where the seam begins for the factory top. so the only part that would need to be custom done is the door to door portion not hood to trunk.
you can take the strip and cut it to fit and get some urethane and urethane it to the roof....if you take the top off to sew it, it's probably going to ruin it and if it doesn't ruin it, it's would be just as much to put a new top on....I would just patch it, wait to get the hard top and then toss the sloft top and frame out...
btw whats up Matt?
