stroking or over bore??
im buildin an all motor setup using a gsr block and a b16 head with the b16 tranny...now im trying to research on wheter im will get better results from over boring the block or buying a stroker kit? my goal is with the finished motor to put 200 to the wheels or as close as i can possibly get... if any one has any input from expierience or any sights that can help my research please let me know. thanks
You don't need to over bore or stroke if your goal is only 200.
Stock bore
12:1
Rods
knife edged crank (free up a couple more ponies)
Jun III's
valvesprings
retainers
Skunk 2 intake mani
you should be around 200 whp with that setup possibly more if tuned right, thre is more to go into a setup than that but it is kinda late and i am tired.

well damn then so if i jus went lets say .20 over i would be able to put even more hp to the wheels then...cause im really lookin to put more then 200 but 200 is jus a respectable goal that im shooting for
with an all motor b series on the street dont plan on putting down to much ive known a lot of very fast not streetable b series that were only making about 230. but one thing i can recommend is try to make the motor as square as possible the k series are an 86 by 86 and they are capable of some monster power.
