i hate pucked clutches. after 3 6 pucks of kevlar and copper materials, i switched to a full face iron clutch very easy and takes 7000rpm drag launches in a 400hp rwd car. on my daily car i have a full face organic unsprung with a double diaphram pressure plate. lots of grab with very smooth engagement.

I have the HKS 3 puck in my car. Its next to impossible to slip and chatters like hell. On the bright side I didn't pay for it and it grabs like a bitch.

thats my point, you dont have to if you choose the correct friction material and clamping force.

how much power/torque do you plan on making?
