Changed the plugs on my Canyon yesterday for the first time. First time ever doing plugs on an inline motor (I5). The rear most cylinder, number 5, hand some oil on the threads, the other 4 looked perfect. Curious what would cause this... never seen it on any of my V8s.

A buddy of mine said it's oil seeping from the valve cover into the plug "hole" over time and that the rear most cylinder is most suseptable because the rear of the motor is a bit lower than the front... thoughts?

yes its the valve cover grommets leaking...just like ahonda...they all do it overtime
